There are a lot of things to do around the hotel, let alone sunbathing!
The beaches are impressive, streching many kilometres. One could spend hours walking along them.
You'll still see fishermen out on their small trawlers each morning supplying the fresh catch for the the menues of Fuengirola's many seafood restaurants.
Fuengirola lives overlooking the Mediterranean. Its 8km of beaches within the town centre have been awarded the Blue Flag distinction, granted by the European Union, for the magnificent quality of its sea and its sand.
Its exceptional Paseo Marítimo (seafront promenade) opens on to the sea like an enormous balcony.

Water sports such as speed boats, jet skiis, parasailing and fishing are strongly featured on the Costa del Sol.
For the children there is the Fuengirola Zoo just a few minutes walk away and in Benalmádena you can visit the big Aquarium Sea Life.

For the keen golfer, Fuengirola is ideal. It is situated right in the heart of the golfing territory of the Costa del Golf, with Mijas Golf just a few kilometres from Fuengirola centre and many more courses within a very close radius .
Andalucía is famous for its beautiful horses. Fincas with horse riding, for all levels, are situated just some kilometres away. As well as riding lessons, there are organized treks around the local countryside and along the dry river bed. The stables also have a bar/restaurant which is perfect for the times when you have worked up an appetite after a ride.
You can make day trips to Gibraltar and Morocco. You could ski in the Sierra Nevada in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon! Take the oppotunity to explore some of the important cultural and historic places in the area, because Andalucia is full of them. Some examples are the Alhambra in Granada, the mosque in Córdoba and the Picasso Museum in Màlaga.
The adventurous guests can inquire at local travel agancies about excursions by quad and canoe. The area is also great for hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing. If you fell like gambling you have the horse races and the casino.
For the party people Fuengirola is the place to be! There are hundreds of bars and night-clubs to choose from and don´t forget all the big "fiestas" when everyone gathers in the streets, to dance, sing, drink and eat.
